Hello everyone, my name is Sara and I am very happy to have found this forum. I have been thinking about getting a sports car for well decades really, but all the time putting it off. I nearly bought a MX5, nearly took on a Spitfire restoration, would love an MGB, but have always loved Z3's. Last Friday I was sitting in our Rover 75 at Morrisons petrol station in Fort William minding my own business when a most beautiful Z3 pulled up and I decided then and there it would definately be a Z3. So if that driver is reading this - IT'S ALL YOU FAULT! A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with being a pensioner and they tall me it is terminal so I'd better get a move on and find out what I've been missing all these years.

I have worked in Photography and graphics and still keep involved, love jazz and blues and I am learning to play the acoustic guitar (again ) so I've lots to keep me busy. I just need something with four wheels and no roof
and it's got to be a Z3.

Best wishes to you all

Hi Sara, and welcome from me near Lincoln, you have made a good decision in a Z3. What type of car do you think you will go for? I have a 2000 2.0 Auto for sale in Oxford Green if it would be of any interest to you. I hope you find the right one, it's out there somewhere. Enjoy the forum and ask any thing about everything Z!

Tony.

Hi, Sara and welcome to the forum from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. I took a quick look through the responses from the other forum members and noticed that @t-tony mentioned that he had a car for sale. Tony works as a mechanic and recently purchased a newer Z than the one he's selling. I was in the UK last September and met Tony personally. On this forum, he has earned the respect of all of us. As he is a mechanic, he has intimate knowledge of Z cars and has always maintained his own personal cars in excellent condition. If it is true that you haven't made a purchase yet, it is your good fortune that you might have the opportunity to purchase Tony's car if so inclined. You would undoubtedly have confidence in knowing the car is mechanically and aesthetically in sound condition. I am sure, as you will soon see by the responses to this post that this vote of confidence for his integrity and honesty is shared by all of us. Good luck to you in whatever choice you make as it is always exciting to welcome another member to our forum and more so for all the female members who will be happy to meet you. Frankie

Hi Sara
Welcome to the gang
There are still lots of good Z3s out there, many of which have been pampered and well looked after. They are a fantastic introduction to the world of topless motoring, the 1.9 models are great value for money at the moment and despite what some people might say, they have plenty of power and good fuel economy. They are also surprisingly comfortable too, for a sports car.
If you need any advice just ask on here, there are plenty of knowledgeable people with years of Z experience.
