Hi everyone,I'm scottyb just bought a 1996 Z3,

Z3 is dark blue , around 110000 miles. a couple issues 1, air bag light is always on.and 2, fuel gauge is always empty . I like the Z3 style.

Hi Scotty, looks like you're a fisherman too, living or pleasure? Airbag light fault is usually down to the wiring under the seat(s) and can mostly be re-set with a tool available on eBay for a few $. Fuel gauge not a real common issue but with checking the fuses and wiring on the sender, accessed behind the seats. Welcome to the forum from me near Kissimmee Fla. till next month anyway.

Tony thanks for the info on airbag light and fuel gauge always reading empty. i got with the Z3 a used ,good fuel pump w/ sending unit. so to replace fuel pump I read need to pull passenger seat.I am going to replace seat track bushings at same time .A nd I am going to ebay to look for tool to reset air bag because of your suggestion.thanks. I fish for fun when crappie are biting , good eating. I also lived by Kissimmee Fla. and panama city about 30 years ago in school. I like it!
