Had a few z3’s.
Now have a 2.8 manual 1998 which has been unsubtly modified...
Matt black
Lowered
Black hardtop (softop works but window ripped - whole top actually needs replacing)
AC Schnitzer alloys
Custom exhaust (sounds fantastic when accelerating—too loud when cruising at 70mph)
K&N filter
Front strut brace
Sports heated seats
Hope to get a few tips on the forum to fix issues as they occur.
Next job, bush replacement for seats.

Hi Jack, I’m based in Milton Keynes. Just uploaded a few photos, first one is my last z3 at zedfest. I sold this recently.

I like your wheels and the way your car sits but I'm not a fan of the "apocalyptic" matt black though to be honest. Is it a wrap or has it been painted? The matt black does suit the car with the hard top fitted though.
If you're looking to replace your soft top there are a couple up for grabs on the forum

Hi Jack
It’s a bit of an acquired taste the black.
It’s a plasticoat.
I’ll look out for the soft tops although I don’t want to fit myself.
Cheers

Hello from Glasgow.

Funny you should buy that car. Had my eyes on it as i knew someone get in there and get a whole with some seriously nice extras for not too much money. Whatever happens with the car, this a great community on here thats happy to help out.

So whats do you have in mind for the car? Plans?

If you fancy starting a 'journal' so-to-type make a progress thread on the forum and i'll pull up a chair for sure. Will be great to see this car evolve.

Hi Scooblitz
Yeah it’s a one off for sure.
At the moment just sorted out the seat bushes but found water under the carpet, came in through leaky soft top before put in hard top I think.
Just trying to dry it out and confirm leak isn’t from anywhere else before putting seats back in.
Once that’s done not sure what else needs doing, may consider removing the plasticoat at some point but I like it as is now.
At some point will attempt the soft top replacement.

Cheers
Azad
