Trudi - :welcome: from Warwickshire.
Wonderful looking Z4 you've got there. Like those split toned split rim wheels on the lowered suspension.
Don't get upset about the HT. Your trying to mate something that probably hasn't had too much use on a car that will have done some miles and will have been flexed quite a bit. Just a 1mm gap will be sufficient to cause lots of wind noise. It will just need some fettling to get a snug fit I'm sure.
The soft top has had many years of use to create a tight fit and may well have compressed some of the seals.

Thanks Redline for the encouraging words Im sure you will be right . Well Im just hoping the ht doesn't change the fit of the softie when it comes up again lol , cant win, I think you !!! Lowered mmmmm Didn't like my nose scraping the kerb as I did the first time picked up car and parked at Morrisons for a cuppa half way home, or having to plan ahead in case of speed bumps,so paid £320 to have new springs back to normal. Its lovely tp drive now, didn't actually know she had been lowered duh!! The springs I had taken off were as new so anyone fancy them for £120 let me know lol

I know just what you mean about kerbs. We're lucky to have two Z4s - both barely have clearance to get on to the drive and that's on standard ride height. As it is Gail all too frequently just catches hers getting off the drive. It's too easy to nudge the kerb too when parking nose in. Have some dramatic speed bumps on some local roads which I detour to avoid. A small price to pay though

If we had only known, we could have popped in past last weekend, or better still you could have joined us and the Wee Wifies Club!

We will have to have a little Scottish meet, as there Apia quite a few of us now.
