Hi all, newbie Z3 owner.

Hi guys and gals, I’m Patrick, Pats fine. I recently purchased my first z3, for a very reasonable price. She’s a 1998 1.9, I’ve learnt so far it’s the M44 engine, apparently the better one? 105k on the clock, runs and drives very well.
She needs a fair bit of work, the last owner abused her looks, cheap “rattle can” spray job, not my taste in accent colours (gold ) l, rear bumpers been mutilated and mirrors need changing back. Interior has had a child with some “funky” wrap let loose in, electrics need sorting, rag top needs some sewing.
Underneath she’s not so pretty, a fair bit of surface rust, most will rub off but some parts need replacing.

I’m planning on bringing back her dignity, will sand back, address the imperfections, and wrap in either Matt or satin black. Interior will be stripped and reupholstered, tastefully lol.

hope I’m in the right place for all the bits of help I’m going to need.
