My name is James, however, after being called Spike for the last 23 years in the forces, its now pretty much stuck!
I’ve just purchased a beautiful Z3 1.9i after an local advert popped up on facebook! Considering its age its in remarkable condition, a bit of rust around the sills, some old shocks that probably need replacing but other than that it starts first time and runs nicely.
I’ve found this site after googling a few niggles, such as wobbly seats, and already found the articles and forum to be a great resource which I can learn plenty from. I’m not a mechanic, I’ve never even changed engine oil before but I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and using this car as a learning project.
