How To Guide Hi ,97z3rvh here hoping to get some good info on my Z3 roadster convertible

I have a Z3 convertible Roadster 1.9 engine drove my car over to a friends house where I believe I activated the immobilizer I lean through the driver side door window down of course when I did I leaned on the door lock button and lock the doors from what I've read that activated the immobilizer because the door was locked then the key was turned I don't understand it all I know is the car is dead won't turn over unless you jump starter no fuel no spark I've heard you can turn this off by turning the key to the left twice and then back to the right any help would be appreciated got to get this car running and I'm disabled and I need to go to the doctor day after tomorrow
