I recently bought a Peugeot 307 that one of Sara's friends was selling, thought it would suit us better than what we currently have. But Sara prefers the trusty old Zafira, so the pug has to go.

2006 plate.
1 previous owner.
4 good make tyres,as new.
Loads of receipts for maintenance work.
M.o.t till December 18.
18,000 miles.
1.4 petrol.
Slight rear bumper scuff and there's a slight knocking from the rear when driven on rutted roads.

Any ideas what it's worth ?

Not knowing what you paid mate makes it awkward :nailbiting:. If it was average miles it's a few hundred quid, I think with such low mileage as long as it has a good history retail I'd ask £1500-£1600 for it.

Thanks Dave, when you say retail, do you mean if it was on a dealer for court ?.

This you would never see a car like that on a forecourt. It's s rare car with mileage as low as it is but it's still 12 years old. I would put that outside my house at £1395.

Wow, that is low mileage.

I'd agree with the figures already suggested, got to be worth more than a grand, maybe up to £1500 sold privately.

The knocking at the rear, do they have the same rear beam set up as the older 206? If so it's an expensive repair.

You'll have to try for a private sale as a PX value would be around £700 I'd imagine.

Not the same rear axle as the earlier models. Could well be exhaust issue. Could soon have a look Steve.

Many thanks for the help chaps .
Now I have some idea how much to advertise it for.
It's currently sorn'd @t-tony I'm afraid so I can't get it over to you.
Was going to have a look but it's been too cold and wet outside lately .
The service symbol is lit up on the dash Tony, do you know how to turn it off ?.

Although it can be very hit and miss, I still think Ebay is best for cheaper cars.

I like to hear the voice of the person I'm going to deal with so I don't ever do auctions.

I do classified ads where you put the price on.

And besides, with an auction you are asking people to bid without seeing the car, unless they're close enough to come and visit before bidding.

It looks like you have a nice, genuine, low mileage car there so I'm sure you'll sell it easily.

Thank you, it is absolutely genuine and the interior is like new. It only did about 3 miles a day and wasn't used as a family car.
You don't come across an oldish car like this very often. It's a shame Sara doesn't want to keep it really.

Cheers for the classified ad idea through eBay.

How much did it cost to advertise it on there Dave ?, if you don't mind me asking.
£45 I think Steve for 3 weeks with 20 pictures. Small low mileage cheap cars always sell on there mate.
