Help with a strange induction noise

I noticed a strange induction noise since I fitted a cone induction system, it's a noticeable sucking sound just as you press the accelerator just breefly(thought it may be conected with the disa) also when I switch the engine off she sounds like she's expelling air from the filter?
Anybody know what courses this? Is it normal?

Cone filters can give a sucking noise so probably normal I'd say, my old Simota kit did it.

My Z4 does this , constant "whistle" at very light throttle opening, slightly annoying but I can live with it. I also get the noise just after switching off, and I noticed it on Grumpy's car too this afternoon. He has my cone filter from my Z3.

A big part of the standard intakes / airbox job is muffle all these weird little sounds.

Putting a massive open filter let's you hear them

yep i get it to but like the sound
