Help Please

It has got more Tony but not all the time.
Hard to to ignore a clonk when you turn the steering wheel pretty worrying.

Can you record the noise with your phone Tracy?

Tony.

Will try over weekend but it's a dull clonk not loud but can hear it when i turn the steering wheel or brake very first time .
Doesn't do it driving straight or on the move just occasionally intermittent turning steering wheel.
Doesn't do it bouncing the car up and down so not shock .
Sounds as if something catches and one or two knock clonks but obviously it's not something catching.
I did ask lee if it was a faulting drop link but highly unlikely.
Sounds like something loose taking slack but everything is apparently is tight.
We wondered if it brake calliper or pads but we are not mechanics as you know so i guess it will need expert investigation once again at some stage at a garage.

Rear control arm bushes done last year ( Lollipops )
Wil try to see if brake discs have retaining screws.
Thank you.

Looked at spring looks fine. Wether it sits right i don't know but no reason it shouldn't sit right not unless it's where it's been jacked up.

Is it just when its cold (first drive off) ?

Hi Paul
No i have heard it after 20/30 mins parking at work very slow manoeuvring of stand still.
Thanks for the input.

Tired rear control arm bush or brake disk rotation - do the brake discs have the retaining screws fitted?
Brake disc screws are irrelevant, unless your wheel bolts are loose??;)

Tony.

Cliff spent a couple of hours on the drivers side with the wheel off having a meticulous look around and checking the tightness of every bolt joint on that side .
He even sprayed everything up with wd40 everything is rock solid tight and could not get a turn on anything except for the bottom bolt on the drop link he got a couple of nips up on it he said.
Anyway wheel back on been out 3 times no clonk knock or anything :party:so fingers crossed.

That's good new @Tracy Dee :p
Glad your clonk clonk has gone ;)

A result - with no expense - perfect!:)

Glad it was a simple fix. Your bank balance just let out a sigh :P

Very true Lee Zed fund is empty at present but then again i think it's had enough spent over the last year.
Although just put in £40 of V power for the Cotswolds on Sunday.

Thank you everyone for your advice.
