Hi I have a 2001 z3 that I have owned for 6 years.I recently had a leak from the rear coolant pipe from the heater bottom take off to the quick release fitting on the rear engine flange. The pipe that BMW said was needed is the wrong one,the diameter is too small even though it matches the vin number and reg.Has anyone else had the same problem and any advice please so I can get my baby sorted

What is your VIN?
the M43TU engine has some differences from the 98 M43, but never heard of a non fitting water hose.

I wouldn't recommend posting those details on a public forum. You never know who is watching.

If this is the part, it seems to be correct.
Just wondering if this is the actual part that you show in the photo.
maybe someone else with an M43 can help.

Does the part you have have the number on the side. Wonder if they gave you an M44 hose ?

The old hose will have the part number on it, if it is the original BMW part.

Tony.
