I replaced my expansion tank. It no longer leaks but the level is even below half on mine. I just keep an eye on it all.

Well here she is in all her glory after a decent run out in the sun this afternoon. Everything seems to be working and the temp holds steady at mid point no matter how I drive it. Nice not to have wobbly seats now as well. Didn't realise how annoying that had got. Thanks to all for your help and encouragement. At last I can clear up my workshop now and enjoy the car for the summer.
