Hi Lilybet, I'm guessing you're not 74 and also that you're not lucky enough to be a teenager with that as your first car? Either way, it's a great choice and a big welcome to our forum. This is a great place for info and fun too. I'm sure I've seen that picture before somewhere, a lovely looking Z ? Where are you located? I'm up here near Lincoln.:)

Tony.

Welcome Lilybet74!

Your Zed looks awesome, thanks for posting up a pic! Seriously, a Z3 as your first car after passing your test? That's awesome.

Shout if you have any questions, Gary

Welcome from Canada! Best advise I can give is do drive it as much as possible and attend a run or two to meet the great people of the forum. Don't leave your car sitting unused, they love to be driven so do it safely and keep posting any questions you may have. JIM

:welcome:from Mansfield from me and @jue1. (the wife). Fantastic choice for your first car. Beats having a vauxhall fiesta or a ford corsa any day of the week? What are you paying for your insurance? I looked at a 1.9 for my son jack when he passed and it was silly money! Alas he has a ford corsa lol!:D:mad:

Hi Tony,
I'm up in Durham. You're right I'm not 74. There are some perks to passing your test at 40!

Hi from Durham
I'm 41 so the insurance was a straight £700. It's my first year driving so I expected it to be high. It's worth it though!

So Lisa, born in 1974. Weather should be better this afternoon, raining here (Staffs) at the moment. :(
