My name is Doc and I live in Bolivia, NC. I retired here in January 2017 after a 27-year military and federal government career and built my final home on some wooded property that I purchased on an earlier trip.
I just purchased my Z3 about six months ago from an older lady that only drove it in good weather and garaged it all winter. The car had 94,680 miles and looked showroom new. It drove like a dream! Eventually, I noticed some rubber and plastic parts required replacing due to age. Thank goodness for YouTube. I have replaced the gas cap, the rubber grommet for the radio antenna, the glove box handle, the windshield washer nozzles, and swapped out the factory radio for a new Pioneer that is made for working with smartphones.
I am looking forward to learning from all of you. Thanks!
