Ok, introduction thread... Hi everyone.

I have a 2000 M Roadster. Bought it second hand in '07. I generally only drive it in the summer and when the weather is nice. In fact, the tags expired and it sat in the garage for 2.5 years while my wife was sick with cancer. She passed away 18 months ago, after losing her 22 month battle. I got the the tags renewed last Fall and drove it some before putting it away for the Winter. It's time to get it out again. My daily driver is a 2018 Jeep Wrangler.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Glad to see you've got your car back on the road. I need to get kicked in the tail as mine has had a comer on it for 4 years. It's also a 2000 ///M, Imola Red. Any pics of your car?..

Thanks for the welcome and kind words re. my wife, everyone. She really loved the car, going for country drives in it, etc.

I have more car pictures that I'll try to post. I do love the one I used as an avatar, but I realize now that it doesn't show much detail in that regard.

The car itself is completely stock, although I'm thinking it's probably time for a new stereo, and the ancient speakers are definitely worn out.

I actually need to renew the safety inspection before I can start driving it. I let the tags expire over the Winter because I need to fix a little problem in order to pass the inspection. It was low priority during the Winter, but now that the weather has turned for the better, I'm dying to drive it!
