Hi

My name is Simon and I live in Wimborne, sunny Dorset.

I have owned 2 Z4's over the past couple of years, an 06 plate 2.5i which was my first. I then traded that in at the turn of the year for the new weekend love of my life my Z4 SDrive 3.0i M Sport as seen in my profile.

I never thought I would ever get into cars in the way I have done in recent years. It was the want to share some time with my wife that pushed me to buy a sports car for weekend trips in the Dorset countryside with the roof down. I had always liked the look of the BMW Z4 so just over two years ago my love affair started, and now I am hooked.

The newer car is just great, albeit it wife a built in speed limiter otherwise known as my wife!

Other interests, I am a former rugby player, so getting my 6'4" 18 stone frame in and out of the Z4 is sometimes a sight to behold.

As mentioned rugby is still a big part of my life and many of our friends are linked to rugby and my playing career, which is a long time passed now.

Two daughters, one 22 and one 15 and two guinea pigs, also female so as you can imagine being the only male in the house hold can be a challenge at times!

Anyways, I have waffled on enough.

Great to be part of this

Thanks

Simon (AKA Frosty)

I know Bognor well, albeit through the blur of several lads weekends spent in the town

6 Guinea pigs! I thought having two was bad enough. Beautiful part of the world you live in
They're all outside. 4 in a 12ft x 4ft x 4ft dog kennel and the other 2 in a 10ft x 4ft x 4ft dog kennel. Yup, live it up here  went to school in Wyke Regis, Weymouth, very nice down there

Hi Simon and welcome from me near Lincoln, another Z4 owner. Last time I was down your way we were in an A4 EST. Diesel. Must get back down there in my Zed.

Tony.

Welcome to the forum Glasgow Scotland, Frosty. I feel bad for your drivers side suspension springs carting you about!

Some serious performance coming out of these new bmw engines and the z looks great too. When lockdown ends, im sure there will be a local meetup or cruise happening soon.

Hi Tony, thanks for you message. The roads are certainly quieter at the moment for anyone choosing to travel to Dorset just now
