Thanks to all for this forum! Currently adding roll bar kit to the base Roadster. Already added 3rd party halogen focus-beam assemblies and integrated halo units... really looks like a much newer car and has much tighter focused lighting patterns. Replaced all the bulbs in the tail and center brake light fixtures with LEDs. Added another brake bulb in a unused socket location on each side and moved the running lights to the outboard location where the stock brake light was. Much better contrast when the brake lights fire up and very crisp turn signals. Center brake light 194 bulbs had to go in from the lens side of the socket. I'll add some pics later when I get a chance. Fixed the seat track bushings too. what a pita.

Thanks for the owners manual! It helped me figure out what/how the ASC and S/R worked. The spare tire removal is a real Rube Goldberg procedure! No way my wife could figure that one out! What group of drunken engineers worked on that joke?! ;-) Car is laid up for the winter. For a 20 year old car it really is fun to drive.

My Blackberry pics are trapped in the phone for the moment. The link software has quit since a Windows update came through last week. aarg!

I also have a Factory5 Mk3 Roadster build going too. I bought it years ago but, business, family and real estate projects took up most of my time. I have a lull in business for the moment and a bit of time to tinker. The Z3 was purchased from a friend whose wife could not push the clutch out any longer. It's really solid. No rust on it, which is the killer of cars here in Ontario. Winter driving through a sea of salt water is murder on an older vehicle. I think I may be the 5th owner and it appears no winter driving has occurred. While pulling out the interior I found business cards from BMW dealers in California and Indiana as well as Toronto. My friend had the differential replaced by the dealer before he bought it.

Hi Ted, welcome from me near Lincoln UK. My car is an every day car, thankfully we haven't had the worst of, our, winters so not that much salt but like everyone else once they stop using it the motor gets a very good under car jet wash to get rid of it. If you can keep yours indoors through the worst of your weather fair play to you mate. Looking forwards to seeing some pictures of your Z and the other project as well.

Tony.

From my limited experience of Toronto which only encompasses the airport, everything is too close to Toronto. I pay more to fly around it when we fly out to visit friends in NS. Have had nothing but problems every time I've been there. Have seen pics around Georgian Bay and it looks beautiful!
I also own a 97 1.9 in Boston Green which I exported from the U.K. IN 2014 using nothing but my iPhone to complete the sale, shipping to Canada, etc. Was quite an experience. JIM
