Hello I am a new owner of my 2000 BMW Z3 Convertable Roadster 2.3L looking for advice on swapping fan clutch for a set of electric cooling fans

My question before I hit the Buy button on E-Bay as I blew apart my motor cooling fan when the fan shroud became loose and moved so it took off a few blades. Now when I was looking to purchase the fan and shroud for my Z3 I saw many options to purchase a 2 Electric fan kit including relay. Now the thing I suppose I wanted to know is I wanted to make sure it will work for the motor cooling as opposed to the A/C fan? And will two 10" fans fit in the area which use to have a fan clutch and fan on the motor? Now i'd love to have A/C as well but I understand that is a completely different system. My car does have A/C but when previous owner was driving on freeway something flew up into the radiator area and took out the electric fan and put holes into the A/C fan radiator. That said maybe I can repair the radiator and use one of these fans for it as well but the main thing I wanted to know is can I replace the factory Motor fan with fan clutch with this two 10" fan kit w/ relay included?
*And do I still need a fan shroud or can I simply install the two fan kit which does have a protection grill??
