Welcome and be happy for "wet":)! Most of us, except the southern emisphere, just dream for a ride, looking at the frozen winter...
Enjoy the car and the forum!
Did anyone mentioned some pics for our curiosity?;)
Dan
Fair point. A crisp sunny frozen day would be nice though. I’m holding off on the pics until she’s a little more ship shape.
So far I’ve fitted the induction kit that came with it. Had bushes fitted. Mopped half the paint in between showers. Used the cif bubbles on engine bay. Changed the wheels to the ones in the photo. She came with a boxed new rear screen from Germany but I haven’t worked up the courage to fit it yet. I’m hunting for chrome vents and fogs to finish her off.

Hi. I’ve read you’re build from start to finish. The attention to detail is amazing. I wish I possessed a fraction of you’re skills.

Personally don't like bling, car virtually fully dechromed now, less locks. Each to their own of course.:)

@Jack Ratt

Shine up your buttons with Brass, it's only 3 ha'pence a tin.
You can buy it or flog it from Woolworths,
but I doubt if they've got any in!

That's a blast from the past.

Tony.
