Hello from sunny Bucks!

Morning everyone

Picked up my 2.0 roadster on Sunday, what a cracking day to drive from Leicester to Aylesbury in a convertible! She needs a bit of work (sills) so figured I would join the forum to get some help and advice. Looks like an easy enough job, just a pig with having to remove every other panel first.

MOT is end of May, so although it should pass, I want them sorted by then, especially with a drive to Le Mans only a few weeks after.

Ideally I would replace the sills, but I assume this would involve getting the new ones stone protected and sprayed on delivery, and not sure how much the whole job will cost, having just spent 1400 on a motor I don't want to spend another ton of money immediately if I can help it.

@Mnbrennan uses a chap in Bletchley for paint and we use Russell at DMWORX in Stoke Mandeville for any work we can't do

You could treat the insides of the sills yourself, even spray the outsides too. There are very good aerosol cans out there which would keep the cost down for you.

@BMBabe no pics yet, the ad that was online is just a dead link now so will get a few snaps up tonight. Not sure what I'm up to on Saturday as I think we have friends staying over, but it would be good to meet and soak up your knowledge (or persuade you both to do the work for me ) Changed the head unit from the factory tape deck to a Bluetooth unit last night, so job one is done, need to remove the cd unit from the boot now, as it doesn't have the CD casette in it anyway!

Oh don't throw the original away I am after the original with the CD changer
You may see my later in my black Panther 2.2 but the hardtop is still on so I may pinch @Mnbrennan Smurf the 2.8
