Hi I'm Kash from South Wales.
I've had my Z3 now for a couple of months now. Bought it from an elder gentleman from West Wales. Last owner had it about 13years.
    The specs are as follows:
    2001
    2.2
    Sapphire black
    Red leather
    Manual hood
    Heated seats
It was totally standard when I picked her up.
Needed some TLC.... Paint work wasn't great. So I spent 30 hours on the paint correction process.
Mods, upgrades and other bits done so far.
    Full inspection 2
    Custom exhaust with X pipe
K&N Apollo custom kit with a custom carbon fibre cold air duct replacing the passenger side fog light. While I was at it I replaced the intake boot as it was falling apart.
All bulbs have been replaced with cree let's
The suspension has been replaced with a vmaxx coilover kit... Slammed all the way down.
The type 42's have been replaced with Azev A staggered wheels. 7.5 x 17 front and 9.5 X 17 rear. 1 sticky caliper has been replaced and they have been colour coded with the hubs and ceramic coated. Front upper strut brace has been done... The engine bay has had some rust treatment and paint in OEM paint. Surface rust around the arches have been addressed also.
    Short b sting Ariel
Worn leather was re dyed and blended in the correct colour.
The disa was rebuilt with aluminium flap.
    Things left to do
Hard top being fitted over the weekend
    Vac leak needs addressing
Stereo system will be redone over winter period as I plan on stripping the interior and building it. I've probably missed some bits ..
I'll do a built thread when I get a minute.

Hi Kash and welcome from me near Lincoln. Great looking car, you've been very busy. Bet the previous owner wouldn't recognise it now.

    Tony.

I never hang about.... I never drive standard cars....
I used to modify cars for a living, tuning styling and audio.... I've had some features in the old skool mags such as max power, fast car, banzai etc.... Jacked it in 9 years ago.. now it's just a hobby

Howdy. Also South Wales - Swansea.

Fine looking car done properly with all your experience.

@handsomejackuk can explain possible help for your vac leak as the local gang have recently built an excellent smoke machine to search out the leaks.

Don’t suppose you have the 42s hanging around still you want to sell? I’m after a set of the split rim versions - BBS 765s.

I do have the 42's ... I'm refurbing them at the moment... When I finish I'll decide if I wanna sell or keep em.
Well might be a vac leak... All signs pointed to disa . Which I rebuilt but it was fine...
I'll have it sorted when I got 5 mins to spare
