I first came across this excellent site over a year ago when I was considering a Z3. I read the buyers guides the service gen and after a few months of serious looking tracked down a '98 2.8 in Essex. Spent the winter months giving it a thorough service and am now enjoying the drive. Always puts a smile on my face from the moment I fire it up. Out this week over Dartmoor on a a very misty April morning for a top down blast. Finally sussed out how to put a few pics up too including my favourite roadside stop with the help of my son. Cheers chaps for a great site!

Great car and a happy owner by the look of things Jonno, welcome from near Lincoln. The HT looks good but I guess it'll soon be in the garage for the summer?:)

Thanks Chaps. Yes Tony the hard top is already off and my next project is to make a ply cradle to bolt to the garage wall for safe stowage over Summer.

Thanks Hardtop I got a storage bag with the car that even included a BMW logo 'd fleece blanket for when the you fold the hood down. My dog loves it! I just need to get the roof off the garage floor and maybe an excuse to give the jigsaw some exercise.
Gaz the site is excellent. The wealth of knowledge and common sense approach of the articles was very useful when I was researching potential cars.

Hello from Truro. I got my Zed in Dorset only to find when the V5C came back from Swansea that it was traded by a guy from Newquay.
Mine was the first one I looked at but was hooked from the start. I'd been looking at SL Mercs but the Zed was half their price but twice their value. The auto box has never been a concern to me. The 6 cylinder engine is so torquey you only need one gear anyway

Enjoy your Zed and sign up to some of the drive outs

Thanks again for the welcome everyone. I will track down the bag and brackets JIM and Hardtop. I would like to meet some fellow Zed owners down here. We have some great A and B roads in Devon and it hardly ever rains (that much!) Exmouth to Dartmoor is pretty good with a choice of eateries on the way.
