Hello from Colorado,USA.
This is our new to us 140,000mile, Z3 3.0 Auto. It’s our second BMW,First was an 05 330i ZHP.

So far I’ve changed all fluids and filters, repaired power steering leaks by replacing all fluid hoses and reservoir.
Replaced both window slide blocks and reinforced and secured glove box to dash pad mounts.
Headlights lens have been polished and driving lights replaced, both lens cracked or broken.
Console cover/storage box was cracked so we have a new one from an eBay vender (cup holders way to small for US based beverages)so that will get modified.

The steering has an annoying pull that changes from left to right depending on the last large steering movement. Turn left and it pulls left, turn right it pulls right. I’m still working on that diagnoses.
Im also looking for a current draw that kills the battery in 7 days.
The wheels need to be refinished.

The car is far from perfect but hasn’t been abused. For its age the car is presentable and wheres it’s faults good enough for a driver.
It has very good power for just rolling through the many mountain passes here in Colorado.

Hi and welcome from me near Lincoln UK. The steering issue is a strange one. It would appear to me that it is not self-centreing as it should, so I would suspect the steering column U/J is partially seized.

Tony.

Welcome from Ramsey, Cambridgeshire.

I was having a smilier problem, and it turns out I had a brake calliper that was seized. Basically, the brake was permanently applied and the car would pull to one side or another based on steering input.

I've also changed all bushes, and that's stopped all tram-lining I was facing before.

Not saying this is your problem, but worth a look.
