A small introduction and a big hello to all at zroadster.

No pics I'm afraid as my Z3 is far from meeting its potential of a usable car and I am hoping to tap into the knowledge and experiance of fellow members.

It is a '97 1.9 M44 which I obtained from my brother who had garaged it prior to it failing an MOT (Cracked windscreen & brakes) Where it sat for 5 years.
He was about to scrap it to get garage space but seeing as my current car (E46) was on its last legs, and I always like a challenge, I decided to give it a chance.
It has now sat in my own garage for the last 3 months while I try to get it started prior to fixing all the other, obvious faults.
As this is a hello/intro I will go into the non-starting later but safe to say, I would love to get this on the road again and use it as my daily drive as I am now car-less. Scrapping is not the option but gonna need some help with this. M44 Massive, prepare yourselves!

Steve..

Hi Steve, there's loads of help and info on here just for the asking and usually local help if needed. For instance I'm near Lincoln, where are you located please?

Tony.

Hi Steve welcome to the forum. Good idea to get a code reader on it, could save you loads of time. Where are you located? There might be another member close by with a code reader

Thanks for all the replies.
Good to know there's plenty of back-up if needed.
Based just outside of Southampton.

Tried quite a few things already and even got a copy of INPA going but no relevent fault codes.
As this is an intro thread I will post a full essay in 'Progress' and post a link.
If anyone would enjoy a good read and head scratch.

Thanks again All
