Hi,
I've owned my 2001 Z3 roadster for 5 years now. I'm starting to get into doing the maintenance, repair, and updates myself so I'm on here for advice, help, and support I guess. We live in Florida now so there is plenty of time for top down drives. Gotta keep my girl running and looking great!
Previous owner replaced the cooling system, upgraded the spark plugs, and sound system.
I've replaced the alternator and the soft top 3 years ago.
My next few projects include replacing the seat bushings, fixing the instrument panel lights reostat/headlight switch, seatbelt guides, and repairing/replacing a crack on the dash. Many things I should have done a long time ago but was just having too much fun driving!
Anyway, thanks for having me. I'm looking forward to looking through the page and meeting everyone!

Welcome to the forum @Stowellez from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Glad you joined. I was down in Florida to meet 3 members of the forum who are from the UK. One of them has a place in Kissimmee. There is a very good data base on the forum that relates to repairs. And all the members are always willing to help with advise as they have done many of the repairs or upgrades you might be planning. A great deal of the members are from the UK and won't be online here until tomorrow, They are 5 hours ahead of us here on the east coast. The member @t-tony has the place in Florida. He is a mechanic and well versed in most repairs. He comes over here twice a year and it's very possible that you'll meet him. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at just how nice all the forum members are. I have been over there twice in 2 years to meet up with them and they all treated me like I was family. My first time over there, I stayed my first few days with a sheep rancher from Wales who has 2 Zs. (they say Zed). I was impressed with the 3.2 L ///M that several members have and although I have a 1.9 L '96, I looked for and found a 2000 Z3 ///M in California which I bought. My friend from Wales, @miller1098 flew over to Philly where I met him, and we both flew over to San Diego and spent 6 days driving the car back to Jersey. That's the kind of people they are.
