I am living in Everett, Washington, Yea had some challenges with posting pictures. It seems all these sites are different trying to post and I just could not get this one to work.
I'm at the other end of the country. Just had a friend visit from Eugene, Oregon. Sometimes if your pictures are too dense or too many pixels, you have to reduce them before you upload them. Once you click "upload a file" your picture file will open up. If it doesn't, you have to search the left side of the box that opens up and bring up the file where you're picture is located. Sometimes when I store a picture on the computer, I may not be paying attention into which folder its being stored in. When I click "Upload a File" and its not in the file that pops up, it can be very difficult to locate it within that pop up box, or perhaps I should say it's difficult to navigate around your computer while in that box. Sometimes, before I attempt to download a picture, I'll right click the windows symbol in the lower left corner first and then right click "Open windows explorer". I'll navigate through the computer until I've found the folder. I'll open the folder and then click the "minimize" tab in the upper left corner. This reduces the folder to a tab along the bottom of the computer screen. I do this because when I go back to the forum to download a picture and the wrong folder pops up, I can go back to the tab at the bottom of the screen and click on it to see again the folder I must navigate to in the waiting upload window. Once I've clicked the bottom tab to check the location, I'll reduce it again, go back to the pop up box of the "Upload a File" button and navigate the right side of that window to find the correct file, open it, and select the picture. Before you do all this, you can find the picture first and right click on it to produce a box that has the word 'Properties" on the bottom of the list. Clicking on that brings up a box with all the properties of the picture in it. This box has tabs on the top. Click the one that says "details" and the resulting box will have the number of pixels in the picture. If it is too large, you can reduce the number of width x heigth pixels with software you probably have in your computer already. Doing this will enable the transfer of the picture from your computer to the forum to go very rapidly. After the picture is transferred, chose full picture and not thumbnail. I hope this helps you. Perhaps you already know most of this. If so, forgive me for carrying on. Frankie
