Hi, my names Steve I've owned my Zed from new in 99 when the face life and small six came out, I had a 1.9 16v before that, I use the car for the summer months and it's covered 28k.

I've been a long term member over on roadster.net and done many mods to my car and all servicing since the warranty ran out. I joined here in 2012 but then life took a bit of a detour and the Zed has sat in the garage till last year, well life's back on track so I thought I'd have a look at what was going on here.

Brief spec, fell in love with the brochure car so Topaz Blue with full extended blue/black leather, Matt chrome trim, blue power hood, air con, roll bars(cost option in 99). They sit way too high so Eibach pro sport springs fitted at two weeks old, and finally put 18's on this year. All the usual done, strut brace(@ 1 month old) induction kit(only this year) footwell lights(upgraded to LED last year) polybush wishbones this year wish I'd done that years ago! but the tramlinings back a bit since I put the 18's on, I'm hoping it's just the tyres!?

Anyway here she is

Just sorn'd her for the winter Jobs to do, repolish the rims, give the later model steering wheel I've just fitted the Royal treatment, redo my M gills, I had them on about 7 years ago but the paint sank around where I filled in the M badge so I took them off and put them in a box somewhere! I've seen some pics on here of them in black? That might look cool?

Roll on next summer

Thank you all for your kind words you really do seem like a friendly bunch. Yes unfortunately economics dictate I only tax it for six months.
