had an issue with my car being super hot or nothing at all done some investigating and the plastic peg on the arm that moves the cable has poped out the guide in the back of the turn temp selector, poped it in great had hot through to cold nicley untill it was on hot a while the went really stiff when going over to cold and poped out again!
Question is what makes it stiff/seize up?
The cable, knob or something else?
Im ok to fit whatever is needed just need to know what to buy. As i want to fix it first time.

Ive had this a purple times after taking the console out, not sure but I think the cable just gets in a funny position and catches on something rather than acting smoothly.
Could be something more involved though I suppose.
Mines not totally progressive again so need to take it apart and check again...
