Recently purchased heated sports seats came with the switches but cut as per photo, Anyone know best place to get the correct cable connector from? Mucho ta in advance.
Hi, the cabling should already be in your car behind the centre console. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I read that all Z3s are fitted with a standard wiring loom which makes retrofitting things like heated seats a doddle. Though the plug wiring for the underneath of the seat does differ from prefacelift to facelift.
I retrofitted heated seats in mine and have the facelift switches and facelift seats in a prefacelift car and they work fine. I did have to buy the adapter harness for the seats as they were from a facelift model but the switch works just fine.
Also not sure if you were aware but you will need to fit the heated seats relay into your fusebox, if I remember correctly this is identical to the horn relay (but do double check with someone else just in case)
