heated rear window switch

so during my event fitting a roll bar,
i had to remove this from centre consul

now how the hell does this go back, the back plate is loose so cant hold it and push them together, cant remove consul as cant the plug wires in....

how does this go together??? im stuck

Can't remember exactly. Had mine out years ago but bit vague in my head now - is it that the bit with the 3 holes is on the top surface of the console and the other bit comes up from below the console clipping the two pieces together.

yeah would appear thats the way.. however, it wont clip together, its like they were never designed to fit, iv used double sided sticky tape and binned off that back plate thing.
