Headlights!!

Hi guys first post on here for a while, just got the car back on the road but I've noticed my headlights are broken! Cracked. I've found some but they are off a 2000 car and mines a 1997 will they fit?? Cheers for help much appreciated

Yes they will fit but do you old ones have the side lights in the headlight unit or as side markers in the bumper? If your are the early type with the sidelights in the headlight unit you can still retrofit the side light bulbs buy dremeling the location out the mould lines of the fitment will be there.

Mines a 2.8 1997 it has orange side lights near the BMW side badge then clear lights under the headlights

Pictures would explain it better Chris, sounds as though you have the lights in the bumper, or are talking front fog lights?

So your sidelights are in the front bumper, not in the headlight units themselves? My car was a 2000 and had the bumper lights (I fitted indicator lights in them too, but that's another story). Should be a straight swap. Your car has possibly had a later model front bumper fitted at some point.

Then you do not need any sidelights in the headlight units for the MOT Chris. (or angel eyes).
