The L/H headlight on my Z4 (2003 E85 2.5i) is loose. I have not yet dismantled it, but I believe that one of the fixing lugs is broken. Can someone let me know where the best place to buy one would be, please. (the headlight, not the lug!)
From trawling the net it is a bit confusing, as some info says you cannot fit the 'Angel eyes' to a factory fitted Xenon type. Which is okay, but most of the headlights I have seen are the 'Angel eye' type! Where can I get the 'ordinary' type?
Colin.

I would reckon a man of your talent could repair the original one Colin. We often repair broken lugs at work. Well worth having a look.

Tony.

Yes, that thought did cross my mind, but I'm not buying anything until I have removed the unit. Just preparing the ground in case of 'sod's law:p.
I did find a unit but it is in Inverclyde, it was only £50 but it's a long way to travel at this time of year, especially as they have snow up there at the moment. It's a 'Gumtree' listing, and even on the site they say meet face to face and do not send payment for goods not seen. Good advice.
The good news is that on the drive back from Worcester on Saturday the lights were working well even if they did seem a bit dim. (bit like the driver, then:D) so no big panic at the moment, least-ways.
By the way, I loved the photos! And the description of the Aston Martin exhaust=))
Colin.
