The lenses on my Z3 are not particularly clear, if anything, they look like smoke glass finish.
I have seen other Zeds where they are crystal clear, so is there anyway to clean them, or is it just a case of replacement????

I have a vague memory from years ago, of being told that you can t-cut them, but don’t want to try it in case it makes them worse.

I’d be grateful for any info.

Don't use T cut as its ammonia based, all you need is a good cutting compound, we use Farecla G3 and it brings all but the worst lights up like new

Autoglym have a kit to do the lights.

IF they're really bad you need a kit with fine sanding discs with an electric drill attachment first then polish and sealant. I bought such a kit from a Target store in Kissimmee from the clearance shelf in their car dept. Had some right bargains from there inc. Meguiars Carnuba polish, a Clay kit and Turtle Wax headlight restorer.

Thanks for that Tony........
I was hoping to get something more local, but the wife has now gone off to pack for a trip to Florida :banghead: :eek:

Well Malc, if she needs somewhere to stay ........................................... ;)=))

Tony.

Halfords. That's not quite as far.

Loads of kits out there I just did my Z4 lights with an Auto Glym kit very good too

There's loads of stuff on internet selling site's. I use halfords on some Toyota headlights a few years back and it did the job. T-cut now do a refurb kit now especially for plastic light lenses.

Autoglym super resin works for me... Fluffy mop on electric drill.... Like new then did my sons Micra headlights yesterday too with great results

@Mint gave me a kit when I did a set on a car I was selling. Can't remember the make but it did a great job. It was the type where you put sanding disks on a drill and grade them back until your on the really fine disk to get the finish. Really easy to use, took about 20 minutes a side.

Many thanks to all for the suggestions.
I won’t say which one I got as everyone has their own preferences, but just to say that the lights look much better now, and I enjoyed the day trip to Florida !!!! =))
