Hi all.
Now winter is approaching and the darker nights are coming I am considering upgraded low beam headlight bulbs something along the lines of Phillips Extreme or Osram nightbreakers.
On dark country lanes they could be better main beam is outstanding but low beam I have had to use the lower lights to see better.
On looking for low beam there is conflicting bulb sizes. My cars a 1.9 1997 low beam are coming up as H7 and HB4 ? Which one should I use?
Also are they easy or hard to fit.
Sorry if it's been asked before.
Thank you.
Tracy.

You mean you take your Z out in the dark, my god you'll be telling us you take it out in the rain next, :D

Ring Xenon Ultima 1206 - Dipped beam

Ring Xenon Ultima 1205 - Main Beam

Fitted these 4 years ago, still the same ones in, never regretted it fantastic light from them

I used Osram night breakers in my Z3 and now in my Z4 too. A good improvement on standard bulbs.

Tony.

Best thing is to take your dip beam bulb(s) out and go to Halfords  or other retailer and ask for Night Breaker bulbs in that style Tracy. I can't remember which they were in my Z3.

Will see in half an hour it's been left since Tuesday I only use the Z for work twice a week .
But after a trip your way Sunday and work Tuesday don't see why it wont start today when iam off to work.
It's not drawing the big current now like it was so fingers crossed next few weeks.
Well done on Mot pass Shelly.
I had my rear shock mounts fitted as well recently so cars in fine fettle I hope. :p
