Does anyone know the height & width dimensions to allow me to check the headlight beam settings?

The Zed passed its MOT today.....but only just. They claimed that the nearside light was aiming high which could be caused by the bulb being poorly fitted :(

Rather than remove the air filter to check......the garage decided to crank the headlight adjusters by several rotations.
I'd rather take the whole bulb assembly apart and re-check.

Cheers

Well done fellow Dakar for passing
Any news on coming to the New Forest run?

Hi Stacey

I am 95% sure that I can turn out :). I was going to see if its possible to be 'pencilled in' at this stage.

Assuming that they said the O/S one was fine, all you need to do is park at 90 deg to a flat wall on level ground and use the O/S one as your datum. Did they make sure that your headlight levelling switch was set at "zero" before testing the aim? IF the bulb wasn't fitted correctly you would, more than likely, not have the correct beam pattern to be able to test the aim anyway.:)

Tony.
