t-tony I like the lights in the front grille another good idea:thumbsup:
Thanks Simon, I really do think DRL's are a good thing these days especially on low cars like these. Been busy fitting some on the Z4 today, check out the More Mods thread.

Did you buy them on line or from a shop. Are they wired in to your side lights.

Hi Simon, this set was a present for my recent birthday but I asked for this particular set which I saw on eBay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141395806...l?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=141395806762&_rdc=1

They're good quality and come with a wired in control which you connect into either the sidelight circuit or dipped beam, then when you start they come on with the ignition and if/when you turn on the lights the DRL's are turned off.

Well they don't suit every car Mike, I like them on the Z3 though. Wonder if BMG has the big eye lashes ones for his?:ymdevil:=))

I'll take a couple of pictures tomorrow in the daylight and show how slim they are and how I fitted them. In the mean time this was as it was getting dark this afternoon.

Here you go @Siamanda, some day light views, you will notice the top edge of the light although parallel to the road surface isn't fixed in line with the top of the cars "mouth". I had to space the mounting brackets down with a small homemade plastic spacer between the bracket and the bodywork to keep it level. I'm pleased with the result.

The spacer on my car had to be 8mm at the inner ends.

And one out in the open.

Personally I hate them, I don't think I've ever seen a car they suit.

However, it's your car, do what you think looks good. Variety is the spice of life

I do think they look great, and as you say with a low small car they help with visibility to other drivers.
