Archived Haynes Motor Museum Friday Evening 17th April

I had a call from Westerly BMW (my local Dealership) with a potential invite to a function they are running at the Haynes Motor Museum. I am not sure how involved we can be as that would depend on numbers but they are doing an evening at the Museum with some demonstrator cars a number of invited guests and a I8 (I also think an I3 but I may have that wrong) as well as they are doing guided tours of the museum laid on. I am not yet sure how involved we can get but Westerly are asking if we would like to come and what sort of numbers. Then depending on the cost to them (westerly) they will decide what we get thrown in if you get my drift.

I anticipate that we will be offered access to the museum and depending on numbers a guided tour potentially and also the ability to have a look at the cars that Westerly BMW bring along both for the display and maybe even for a test drive IF they have some spare time slots spare after allocation to their invited guests.

I think this is a great venue and I for one have not seen the museum and would like to even if I have to pay the entrance fee which I might not have to.

If anyone is interested let me know. I think it is most likley to be of interest to the [USERGROUP=16]@West Country[/USERGROUP] group but it is of course open to anyone if it comes off. Obviously due to the late notice I could do with an idea of numbers ASAP so that I can go back to Westerly BMW as quick as I can.

I will then get back with more details of what the form is nearer the day when I have spoken to Westerly ref potential numbers

I'm up for that too. I drive past the place twice a week on my way to and from Southampton and to be honest, I've been planning on going on my own so it would be good to meet some other forumites there.
