Good attendance at the Haynes Breakfast meet today organised by Davester2.2sport, forum members from far and wide. The Welsh and Gloucestershire Zeds ventured across the Srevern Bridge to meet up with Dave at Gordano Services, early start for us leaving Gordano for Sparkford at 07:20, picked up some of the others along the route and met up with others upon arrival at Haynes. Welcome tea and breakfasts consumed and some ventured into the Museum, some of us who have been before walked the car parks to view the vast range of Classics and others who had turned up for the event. We had managed to park all together around the back of the Museum but found one or two other Zeds dotted amongst the other cars. It was about 12:30 when we departed for a return run to Bristol via the Chedder Gorge. As luck would have it one of the car parks within the Gorge was vitually empty so we all line parked for a few photographs. Quite a few picturs already posted in the Forthcomming Events Thread. Time up and we lost a couple of members who returned up the Gorge whilst the rest of us went down and on to the Town and Country Pub on the A38 for refreshments. Final farewells and we all departed for homes, a very good day had by all. Thanks to Dave for putting this run together, suggestions made for a repeat some time for a cruise in the Glastonbury area. Might be a Welsh Cruise in the new year so keep an eye out.
