We're off out again in the black zed today, heading up the Atlantic Highway, a great road, from Indian Queens up to Barnstaple, via Widemouth Bay and Bude, then onto Lynton and Lynmouth then up Countisbury Hill over the top to Porlock Hill then down into Minehead for a late lunch.
It's lovely here this morning so planning on having a top down day. I was up early to take Fred out so the rest of the day is ours.
I've got a couple of big bottles of Stella in the fridge for when we get home tonight. Should be around 300 miles all in.
I'll try and remember to get some photos but can't promise, see ya later

Hope you both have a great day out. Looking forward to seeing some pics later.

We had a late lunch, 3pm ish at Wetherspoons in Minehead. Had a walk around the town for a short while then got back in the car and set off home.

Got back around 7.30pm after a lovely ride out. There wasn't too much in the way of traffic neither on the way there or back. We were diverted off the A39 just after we got to Bude because of a road traffic accident, but we got to Kilkhampton via Stratton and got back on track to Barnstaple then on to Lynton and Lynmouth and over Countisbury Hill and Porlock Hill and down into Minehead.

We came home the same route apart from the detour around Kilkhampton and covered 273 miles since we left home this morning. Top down all the way there and back.

No pics again though

Sounds like you've had a great day out Gary, we've driven some of those roads in the past when we've been down that way.;) Unusually for us, we had a ride out today as well:whistle:=))

Hope your day was lovely :p

Sounds like a nice run if you fancy doing some of that again on 9th July I hope to be part of the Lyn Valley Classic tour when we end up as part of the 300 car display on fields at sea front. There is a very nice pub in Lynton for a roast should you fancy one. Geoff

Cheers Geoff I'll bare that in mind.
