I've had it on and off a number of times in the couple of months or so I had it on the car, mainly because I wasn't happy with the excessive wind noise I was experiencing from around the windscreen.
First time it was on, I had a bit of a leak when driving in heavy rain, but that's sorted now.
The last time I took it off I loosened all the fittings, so when I refit it, I'll be starting again from scratch so to speak.

Perhaps when I fit it again, and if I'm happy with the fit, I wont have to readjust the fitments.
Bought myself some gummi pflege stift which is apparently the product to use on all your HT seals. Maybe give it a try and see if that helps eliminate the air leakage when those seals are replenished. I'm hoping those front bolts can be found soon so I don't have to put my car into storage before driving it in the snow. Good luck, I may need to contact you for solutions if I run into problems. Hi JIM, When I bought my HT it came without the fittings, so I bought the aftermarket set from a guy from the UK. The front bolts who came with it were just M8x30mm allan key bolts. (thead was 30mm) You can try this as well if you can't get the original ones.

Btw, the aftermarket set is collecting dust now, since I bought a original set from the same guy a month later. If anybody is interested?

Hey Jim, the bolts for the front of the HT aren't anything special, they're only standard 8mm by 30 mm long with either Allen type head or even Torx will do. I found 2 for the HT that I had.

Tony.

Hi guys and thanks, but one of the joys of living away from the traffic, people, etc in a rural area is access to items like this. I've been to the hardware, mechanics, auto supply and motorcycle/quad shops around. Mention Allen and torx bolts and they all know what you want except where you can get some. And I haven't been in Winnipeg until yesterday since Sept. and of course everything was closed. I have someone offered to source originals for me but if I can find others in the meantime you can bet I'll use them. @Dobiwallah , I may be interested in the other set. JIM
