They are OK for hiding rusty lips but generally no but as Grumpy says each to his own.

It would be interesting to see a photo of what they look like fitted. I like a bit of chrome but these might be a bit too much bling and 60 Euros is a lot for something that might not look right, could be proven completely wrong though.

What style BBS wheels have you give for Garry? Split rim? Just thinking you could add some contrast if you had chromed rims and a darker centre?

I think they look great on cars like these:

On a Z3 initially I thought 'he'll mo' but looking at it I think if done right it could work well.
Would need to be:
A dark body colour
Decent size alloys like 17 inch and not stock, preferably multispoke/BBS style
Some additional chrome like windscreen surround and kidney grilles to balance it.
I think door handles and the side gills also in chrome might then be too much.

Amber indicators could work well yo finish it off for a retro 80's look.

They are polished rims but I'm not going to split them to get them painted.

I wouldn't part with my cash before seeing a Zed with them on and as I said, I don't usually go for shiny bling but must have a bit of a brain attack =))

Not sure what they would look like be interesting to see but i've removed as much chrome as possible so not my liking but it may suit your car but if they look like poor bolt on bits may not give the effect your looking for

Yes, absolutely Garry... Get a look at a few pics first. I initially thought they were a big no no but @Dino D is right, they could work on the right car if it's all balanced well.

Nice wheels BTW mate, I very nearly bought some of these myself .. Really suit the Z:thumbsup:

Maurice, me ode mucker, if I had 10 pints of Guinness I'd be capable of doing a lot worse than fitting shiny bits on me car =))

No mate, and it seems most of you guys are advising me to go and have a lie down in a darkened room to get these silly thoughts out of my head.

I would imagine if they are Chrome then once fitted and if you did not like them then what damage will it do to the arch lips paint

They have a rubber seal where they mount, according to the advert, so they shouldn't mark the paint

I just read that on the advert. What is the fixing kit and how do they secure If it is screws then surely you have to fix them to the lip
