Been looking to do this but believe I need my head with helmet lower than the roll over hoop as when strapped in you shoulders can’t flop sideways and ‘shorten’ you in a roll over event.

so think to do it safely I need to lower my seat more (I can remove the runners)and do something like this.

My helmet is slightly proud with the current hoops:

Need to have a word with a Scrutineerbut I think I have a plan for this.
Piece of 45mm cds behind the seatbelt towers.

Repurpose the sissy bar bolts to incorporate spacers and a bracket from the bar.

Weld a big tab to the outside of the tower, with two M10 bolts into inserts in a cap on the tube.

That’ll be a challenge getting a mig torch in there without major dismantling.

Of course, if I can find a way to modify the standard seats for shoulder straps, I’ll then need to add a support to the frame. Otherwise the straps will crush my spine if I crunch it.
