Afternoon all.

With all this fine weather we have been having, it's about time to get my hard top off. Trick is, one side of the paddle flaps is refusing to move. Other side is fine.

This is likely due to yself removing the interior and also the offending hardtop bracket when drying the interior.

The brackets are perhaps a few mm out and not allowing the paddle to do its usual 90 degree travel.

Is there a way to access the hardtop brackets without removing interior trims?

I assume I might need to remove a lot and start again with better alignment?

One man band with hard top being a 2 man job. Currently half a man with a trapped nerve as well.

Have you tried lifting the side of the hardtop with one hand while attempting at the same time to unlock the paddle with the other?

Try slackening the nuts which hold the paddle in place, they are faily easy to get at. one needs a C spanner and the other is a normal spanner, I can't remember the size at the moment.
