Hello I have just bought a hardtop for z3 however front bolts are missing I was given a hext spanner with hardtop and seller says that fitted the bolts but lost bolts . Where is best place to buy these . I have looked on net some people say they are a hext fitting others say allen key fitting.

Allen and Hex are two and the same thing. 6mm Hex IIRC.

Item number 3 from main dealer.
Not cheap mind. They are custom bolts with an o-ring and retaining groove to stop them falling out of the top of the screen.
£10 ea. Only from the main dealer new. They are really only trick M8x18 bolts so a regular bolt of some sort would fit but fall out when not in use.

Hardtop now sat on car just needs front bolts . A couple of questions how do you adjust rear brackets as hardtop is slightly lower on passenger side compared with drivers side, also headlining is loose in places .I can live with that if its not an easy fix. photo shows rear bracket but I cant see an easy way of adjusting , basically it needs to sit closer to body. I have had a quote from a guy I always deal with to repaint hardtop in atlanta blue to match car , I think that is a reasonable price
