Has anyone seen one of these for sale recently? They seem to be even rarer now.

Also, has anyone had any experience with them? Are they even worth it or just a major faff?

Maybe its just the weather but I wish I had picked one up years ago just for the winter.

Had one for years don’t use it don’t think I would use the car anymore with it on and it takes a lot of space when it’s off.Could probably have 3 new roofs fitted at jack smiths for the price of a hardtop

If you use the zed as a daily in the winter then it's worth getting one, as long as you have room to store it in the summer.

The benefits in the winter include a warmer and quieter cabin compared to using just the soft top. The heated rear screen is great if the back becomes a little foggy and clears very quickly. Plus a hardtop changes the look completely, much nicer than the soft top when up IMO.

I have a hoist in the garage so its a 5 minute 1 man job to take off and put back on, so if I fancy a roof down day in the winter it's a quick change. Without a hoist it's a 2 man job but again very quick and easy.

If you get a storage cover with one then they are simple to hang from a wall / rafter in the garage or there are stands available but these can take up a lot of room although then it's easy to move around as the stands have wheels.

Don't forget you need the fitting kit along with the hardtop.

A hardtop adds to the Zed - the downsides are: on and off - assistance needed to remove and back on again - and storage space.

If you can organise for the above - and willing to part with £800+ for hardtop and fitting kit plus around £500 respray of top if needed - then go for it! :)

Great if your car lives out side in the winter.
I did use mine once for a drive but the sun came out 🤦‍♂️ been stuck in the back of the shed ever since.
