no the bag wasnt lined but does seem sturdy enough

Quick update to say I ended up buying the uk custom covers bag which appears to be fit for purpose but their stand is currently unavailable.

Hi all, it might be of some interest to those who need a hard top stand to take a look on YouTube, where a guy has build a stand, on castors, made from domestic grey water pipe !! Likely to be a lot cheaper than any online stands. All you need is a tape measure, marker pen, hacksaw & some mechanical sympathy !!!!

Hi Paul, yes good shout. There are a few on there that offer interesting alternatives. I’ve rigged something up in short term that seems to be adequate and am now reconsidering whether I even need the stand on order.
