Can someone please tell me what this entails and show me pictures of said "preparation" just in case I come across a car that has it.

Just something it lists on the Vin Decoder Mike, code S380A Hardtop-preparation under standard equipment. I just wondered what it consists of? Pre fitted brackets etc.?

It was darts night tonight Mike.........
Still is mate,( 5 pints of Dr. Foster's) and I still haven't seen any pictures of hardtop preparation. Does this exist, or is it a factory myth?

They do have hardtops for Z4s Tony, so they must have preparation, make it simple, buy a Z4 that already has a hardtop, but you won't be able to feel the wind in your hair anymore!!!! Obvious answer then is an E89 like our Alpie!!!! but you will forfeit the boot space, but then you can't have everything, can you????

Not consciously wanting a hard top to be honest, I was just intrigued as to how much preparation was already there. I often see some nice coupe's in town and while they look gorgeous they can't do what I do and throw the roof down to have a nice ride home at the end of another crap day at the madhouse.
