I’m looking for any ideas / plans anyone may have for a lifting frame for a hardtop. Understand I’ll need a hoist but what I’m looking for is the frame work to attach to the hardtop.
Any ideas

Carl

I made one to lift mine i used a length of ally box section and 4 cargo straps it worked fine and made it a one man job on and off.

I've also got a home made one in the garage (well my Mum's as I moved since). Used cargo straps also and a manual cable pulley. Probably cost about 30 quid in total and makes it a one man job in less than 10 minutes. Great for a sunny winters day when you want to whip the hardtop off, you can even leave it hanging until you want to put it back on.

I can't find a decent picture at the moment apart from this one

When I've sorted the garage at the new house I'll be putting it back up but I've since bought an electric winch from Lidl which will make it even easier and quicker.
