As some of you know Sara's parents have been over here from France and bought a zed this week.
So yesterday we took them on a tour of the peaks before their return home today .
We had to do the Tissington ford otherwise I wouldn't be doing my duty .
Could hear Barbara laughing like a school girl as they went through .
Doesn't matter how many times you drive through a ford like this, still makes you chuckle .
Then of course a tea break at the tea room
Then we took a similar route to where I went last week with our Jess,Manifold valley through another ford and @Mint's tunnel, where I very nearly splattered a couple that were walking through it .
Ben was happy with the exhaust note on the 1.9 anyway, said it pops on the over run .
After a run into Buxton for some petrol we were in need of some refreshement,so off to Longnor for fish and chips, which were very nice indeed .
We were lucky to get parked here @billz .
From here we headed over Castleton and Hope,up Winnats pass and did the "loop" so of course then we couldn't pass the Old Hall without paying a visit for a well deserved latte before returning home, rather tired .
No problems with the new zed to report so far,so it seems to have been a good buy.
Now I've got two zeds to keep clean untill it's exported to France in a few months.
