Thank you everyone. Nearly got one of my Z3s (Peanut my 3.0 Sapphire Black Sport) back on the road. So might be popping in again more often soon. Was just meant to be a handbrake cable replacement but has turned into a marathon with one seized thing or broken bolt after another. Ended up with driveshaft out and trailing arm off for handbrake support bolt to be drilled out in workshop. And centre console/footwell plastics out to drive out rotted/sheared off handbrake cable barrel on rear bulkhead from inside :(

Gosh!!! That small-ish job has opened a can of worms. I’m sorry about this. I can relate though and chalk it up to the age of my Z = expected 😱 Yes, pop on here and tell us how Peanut is progressing.
